RPG DLC conquers the charts 3 months before release

While Elden Ring remains at the top of Steam’s top sellers, a popular RPG is sneaking up from below with a newly announced DLC. Following Capcom’s recent presentation, PC gamers are adding Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak to their carts en masse, helping the expansion become a success on the gaming platform long before its release.

Steam charts: Monster Hunter Rise on the rise

If you look at the current worldwide, but also at the German top sellers of Steam, you can see Monster Hunter Rise double pack. For one thing, there’s a fat one Capcom sale, which flushed the main game into the sales charts. On the other hand, the new extension Sunbreak is now also located there (source: Steam).

in one detailed live stream Capcom had taken a closer look at the new content and finally got one specific release date called for the RPG expansion. At the June 30, 2022 the time has come and the fans can slaughter monsters again in the usual way.

Sunbreak: A hit even before release

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak’s Steam success is particularly amazing considering that the release another three months pending. So the anticipation among the fans seems very high and the Capcom event was probably very convincing.
