Xiaomi is rolling out MIUI 12 with December patch for Redmi Note 9
After the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Note 9 Pro previously received the major update to MIUI, there is now news for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. The smartphone will receive the MIUI 12 update.
Redmi Note 9 will get MIUI 12
Users of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 can download a major update for their smartphone just before the new year starts. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 will receive the update to MIUI 12 from now on. It is not yet the Android 11 update, but an update that brings a lot of improvements. Previously, the Note 9S and Redmi Note 9 Pro were already provided with the update. One of the advantages is that it is possible to enable an app launcher or a menu button for your apps.
Other improvements that Xiaomi has made can be found in the privacy settings, opening a chat app from a notification as a floating window, new live wallpapers, animated icons, improved notifications and many other improvements. Bert informs DroidApp that his smartphone has also received a security update December 2020.
If the update is available for your device, you will receive a notification on your smartphone.
