Security update for Samsung, Motorola and Nokia
We have received quite a few tips about updates for different devices. For starters, it’s time for an update for the Samsung Galaxy A51. It was already announced on Thursday that this device would be updated much less often by Samsung with updates. The update that is now available is security update January 2022, Jan informs us. The update has a size of 702MB, which is quite a lot for a security patch. As far as is known, Samsung does not provide any new functions or options. The update does bring the patches that have not been rolled out before to the Galaxy A51.
Motorola Edge 20 (Lite)
A new update is also available for two devices from the Motorola Edge 20 series. The phones that will be updated with the February 2022 security update are the Motorola Edge 20 and the Motorola Edge 20 Lite. Richard informs us that the update has reached his device. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro will also receive the update, but as was the case with previous updates, this takes just a little longer than with the two other models.
Nokia 8.3
Finally, HMD Global has prepared an update for the Nokia 8.3. The smartphone will be updated with a February 2022 security update, Eddy informs us. The update for the phone has a size of approximately 49MB.
