Nokia G50 gets December 2021 security update after a long wait
Brands each have their own update policy; Nokia shouts loudly about this, but in practice this does not always go well. Now it’s time for an update for the Nokia G50.
Nokia G50 gets December update
Earlier this week, the Nokia X20 was provided with the December update, two months after this update was rolled out by Google. That’s quite late. Nokia is usually known for its good update policy, partly because the company likes to advertise with it.
The Nokia G50 will now be updated with a December 2021 security update, Jan informs us. It’s a pretty big update at 113MB. The changelog mentions improved system stability and UI improvements.
The update is now being rolled out for the phone, in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will be notified when you can download the update.
