The end of the year is approaching and it is time to recap. Also in 2021, the editors of the MojAndroid.sk portal used a number of applications. There are regulars among them, such as various communication tools or banking applications, but we also used several innovations. Whether Slovak or foreign.

I’m not one of those users who tries every shit. I really use the apps I use on my smartphone. Apart from social networking applications, which I will not mention, because we all use them, I have a long-time favorite Slovak app FlashScore, which always offers me current sports results. I still like to use the app in sports Biathlon live scores 2021/2022.

I monitor the weather using various applications, but I would like to pick it up Ventusky, which belongs to Czech developers from Pilsen. I have a virtual map of the world and a number of filters to choose from. On the map I see the current temperature, radar, clouds and the like. The weather forecast and history are also a matter of course. In my opinion, the best application for radar is still Slovak SHMUapp.

Since he owns a weather station from Netatmo at home, there must also be an application Netatmo Weather. By the way, I definitely recommend Netatmo to all ten. Products from this company are more expensive, but high quality.

There are a lot of cloud storage, but I’ve been very fond of it lately Mega. It offers a sophisticated application and I often use this solution to share images or other files using a simple link. 15 GB of storage is completely free.

I solve notes with OneNote from Microsoft. The main advantages include multiplatformity (works on Android, Mac, Windows, iPhone) and in comparison with Google Keep, for example, I can search in this application not only by the name of the note, but also directly in the notes. I use this feature very often.

Finally, I would like to add two applications related to travel. Since I also test an electric car from time to time, I really like using the application ZSE Drive. With it, I can see how much energy I charged, when and where I charged, but for example I can also start or stop charging. The second important application is IDS BK, in which I buy tickets for public transport in Bratislava.

For me, not much has changed year-on-year. I still try to keep only those applications that I really need and actively use. To things like ČSOB Smart Banking, My O2, Sygic, Chrome, Spotify, Instagram, Messenger, Asana, Slack a Stocard only a minimum of news was added.

I’m a fan of the Xiaomi ecosystem, so this year I bought a Roborock S7 robotic vacuum cleaner, with which I use the application Roborock. I also have an intelligent Oclean X Pro toothbrush for which I have an application Oclean.

Since I live in the village, I sometimes need to go to the city by bus – this is what a great application for me. Ubian, which offers information on the status of the chip card, the location and departures of buses and a hill of other options.

I am also connected to the village by the IN PICTURE application, in which you select a municipality and then you will receive notifications of various events and general announcements on your mobile phone.

You won’t find extremely many apps on my phone. I keep only what I really need in the facility and use it regularly. I usually visit social networks only to manage MyAndroid’s profile on Instagram and sometimes on Facebook. So every day I regularly open Instagram, or Business Suite, which is used to manage the Facebook page.

I also add to productivity applications Slackthrough which I communicate with colleagues. Asana it is also an integral part of the division of our activities. Streaming platform Spotify I use it practically daily. With the Sennheiser Smart Control app, I can set the audio output of my wireless headphones, or adjust the control options.

When it comes to buying (not only) electronics, I usually turn it on Bazoš, apku Rise, AliExpress whose Banggood. I am very satisfied with the application Tatra Bank, which offers great options that some banking applications still do not have. It is definitely worth mentioning as well Revolwhich offers advanced trading options. I’m a college student, so it’s not missing on my smartphone Webex Meet, Teams a MOST.

I order food through Bolt Food or Bistro.sk. My favorite travel apps are Ubian, We’re going by train, Bolt a Mapy.cz. I turn on the last mentioned application every time I am on a bicycle or somewhere on tourism and I would need to record my movement on the map. These are excellent tourist maps that I can’t praise.

Nowadays, there must be a COVID PASS apk. In my case, this is about VšZP. Finally, I would like to mention that I do not have a single game installed on my smartphone. However, if I decide to install one, it will probably be a logic game with a simple design.

One of my favorite applications is definitely the application from the Railway Company of Slovakia. Traveling is a much more enjoyable affair for me thanks to the simple search for connections and online shopping.

ČSOB Smart Banking

Great app for tracking account status, making payments, setting limits or buying and selling from a worldwide selection of funds.

Bolt Food

If I get hungry and I have nothing in the fridge, I immediately open this application. One of the most widespread food import services in Slovakia cooperates with most restaurants and fast foods. As a result, I never have a problem choosing the food I like.

Coinbase

Investing in cryptocurrencies is a very popular topic today. Therefore, I decided to join the trend using this application. Coinbase is a great helper and assistant even for inexperienced people.

Mc Donald’s SK

As soon as I enter the Mc Donald fast food, I will immediately open their official Slovak application and look for advantageous offers, which you will find more than enough in the app. Best of all, the coupons change every day or every week.

Shazam

There is no day without listening to at least 10 songs from my favorite artists. However, if it happens that I hear a new and catchy song on the radio, the name of which I do not know, I immediately pull out my smartphone and turn on Shazam. This application allows you to listen to a song through your smartphone, which it later identifies when connected to the Internet. If I’m connected to the internet, the app will show me the title of the song immediately.

Zdenka Smalecová

I will always be the first to install Messenger, Spotify, Union and the banking applications of Tatra Banka and 365 banka in the new smartphone. The Stocard application for storing discount cards for various stores, the Ubian application for searching for train or bus connections and the Slack and Asana applications for work also make my life easier. But in my list of apps, you’ll also find a few less popular titles that I think more users should know.

TV Time

In my free time I like to watch series and thanks to the TV Time application I know when I can look forward to new parts. You can also easily find new series and movies to watch, and it has a large community of users who have the opportunity to participate in discussions.

Walli

Once in a while I want to change the current wallpaper on my phone, but the very process of finding a new one has always frustrated me. Google and its search results rarely hit my liking, even when I find an image I like, it’s often not in good quality. I also encountered the same problems when trying out wallpaper apps that are untouchable in the Play store. But then I came across the Walli app, which has a huge selection of interesting and non-traditional wallpapers from creative souls. Plus, it has never happened to me that I found a background there in poor quality.

Clue

I recommend the Clue application to monitor the menstrual cycle and any symptoms associated with it. Some features, such as the ability to view individual symptoms or selected professional articles, are only available to subscribers. But in this case, it pays to think about investing a few euros a month, because the application is really sophisticated and does not sell your data, which surprisingly many competing applications do.

ANTIK SmartWay

During the year, I actively used the ANTIK SmartWay application to rent shared scooters and bicycles. It also offers the possibility to rent an electric scooter, electric bicycle or power bank. Now in the winter, I buy tickets for Košice public transport through it, as they are cheaper than through a chip card. At the same time, you can easily top up your credit, check your account settings or view the details of recent loans. Overall, it’s a very good and nice application and I’ve never had a problem using it.

Winter maintenance

The Winter Maintenance application is definitely worth mentioning, although it is very specific and very few people will need it. It was established last year when the city of Košice decided to involve residents in the winter maintenance of hard-to-reach sidewalks. We are used to the fact that applications created by municipalities or the state either do not look the best or are problematic. However, this one is very well made, it is clear, easy to use, it has a nice, minimalist design and mainly it works as it should, without any problems.

In my case, the year 2021 was not special in the field of new applications. In addition to applications that are constantly used, whether for communication (Messenger, WhatsApp, Signal), banking (George, mToken), only a few new ones have been added to my list.

These include the application in the first place Locus, which has proved itself to me thanks to the international database of hiking and biking trails, whether in Slovakia or Germany. I also use an office suite from Google and also from Microsoft. However, the one from Google fits me best on pure Android, and it is also fully compatible with Motorola’s Ready For function, so this is more or less a guarantee for every case.

In addition, I have car bazaar applications like mobile.de on my smartphone, AutoScout24 a FlashScore for monitoring the results of sporting events. He’s not missing Spotify, application of the health insurance company Trust and Xiaomi Wear for communication with the Mi Watch.
