more photos, specs and prices
Next week, Xiaomi will officially announce the Xiaomi 12. The manufacturer is now in the news about the new ’12’, where we see more photos of the device, and also get information about the specifications and prices. What is there to tell?
Xiaomi 12 leaked
We are hearing more and more about the Xiaomi 12. Last week, the manufacturer itself already shared a teaser with a photo of the front of the smartphone. Now there is a new leak with more information about the new high-end smartphone from the manufacturer, and we also learn a lot about the price of the phone, but we also see fresh images. The announcement is scheduled for December 28, but that date is likely to be the first for the Asian market. However, we assume that the Xiaomi 12 will also be released in our country.
It is striking that the Xiaomi 12 will be a relatively more compact device, with the width of the device coming out at 69.9 millimeters, and the screen will have a size of 6.28 inches with Full HD + resolution. The weight is on the light side for a high-end smartphone; 180 grams. The smartphone will receive the new powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset from Qualcomm. We also see a 50 megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, a 13 megapixel wide-angle lens and another telephoto lens with 3x zoom. Xiaomi will deliver the 12 with Android 12 and MIUI 13.
On the list of leaked specifications, we also come across a 4500 mAh battery for the Xiaomi 12. This can be charged wired with a power of 67 watts, and the power comes out wirelessly at 30 watts. The smartphone gets Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6 and all the other options you can expect from a high-end smartphone.
Information about the price is already there. Converted, the version with 8GB/128GB would come out at 515 euros. For 256GB, the price is around 550 euros. If you opt for the 12GB RAM version with 256GB storage space, you can transfer 610 euros to the bank account of Xiaomi. However, these are Chinese prices, so they will still differ from the price that will apply here in our country. In one of the photos, we see that at least the green model comes with a synthetic leather back, a chic appearance that we know from the Oppo Find X2 Pro and the LG G4.
As mentioned, the official announcement in China is on December 28 (local time there), and we won’t see the Xiaomi 12 in our country until sometime early next year.
