This time you even have the choice between the PS5 with and without a drive. the PlayStation 5 Disc Edition comes with a pulse headphone and the Digital edition with a 2nd dual sense controller. There is also an all-network and SMS flat rate with 20 GB 5G / LTE (max. 300 Mbit / s). For both NextGen consoles, you can also secure a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription and a 100 euro exchange bonus.

Note: The PS5 consoles are only in limited number of pieces available and will only be available in 7 weeks delivered. So unfortunately they no longer end up under the Christmas tree.

If you should opt for the tariff bundle, you can request the code for PlayStation Plus membership in the “My o2” app by February 15, 2022, stating the order number and your zip code and you will then receive the voucher code by email .

PS5 with O2 Free-M contract: is the offer worth it?

Let’s get the calculator out: Die PS5 Disc Edition costs 499 euros and the PS5 Digital Edition 399 euros – at least in theory, because it is currently sold out everywhere. The Pulse headphones cost around 90 euros and the second controller costs at least around 60 euros. A PlayStation Plus subscription for 12 months costs 59.99 euros.

If you subtract these values ​​from the total costs over a 24-month contract period, the remaining 476.74 euros or. 485.75 euros left for the two tariffs. Corresponding 19.86 euros for the PS5 Disc Edition with the headphones or 20.24 euros for the bundle with the digital edition and the 2nd Dual Sense Controller per month for an Allnet and SMS flat rate with 20 GB LTE / 5G data volume. The normal price for the “o2 Free M” tariff is 29.99 euros per month – so a good deal from that point of view. The 100 euro exchange bonus are not even included here.

The biggest advantage here is, of course, that you have the Sony PlayStation 5 gets to it. If you no longer want to wait for the NextGen console and could use a data volume update anyway, this offer is definitely recommended.

Do not forget to cancel in good time, i.e. at least 3 months before the end of the contract. If you should forget that, however, the contract is not extended for another year, but can be canceled on a monthly basis. The basic fee is also reduced to 29.99 euros (Free M) or 34.99 euros (Free M Boost) from the 25th month.
