Android 12: full of bugs on the OnePlus 9 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 / Flip 3
Android 12 has recently been available for download as a stable version for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro smartphones, as well as for Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 3 / Flip 3, but there are bugs, a lot of bugs. This is particularly the case with OnePlus.
Sacred problems with the latest OnePlus and Android 12 smartphones
On the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro, users who have Android 12 installed say have issues like difficulty making and receiving calls, slow animations, auto-refill that no longer works, slower internet speed than before on Wi-Fi, and more.
The update also removed some personalization elements. For example, you can no longer individually change icons or customize the status bar, just like you can no longer turn off Google feed, battery icon, etc. The call recording app and advanced restart feature are also missing.
These many problems with Android 12 and the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro may come as a surprise when you know that there have been several betas. For the moment, it is therefore advisable to stay on Android 11 and wait for the manufacturer to make improvements.
Several galleys also at Samsung
On the Samsung side, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 have been entitled to Android 12 for a few days and there is there also bugs. For once, a problem is more than annoying. Users note that the update has simply blocked their smartphone. It is not even possible to do a reset, it is completely blocked.
Other users report that the installation refuses to go through. For others who have managed to put Android 12, there are daily slowdowns, the screen can sometimes flicker or even have problems with the display rate.
Hopefully Samsung is investigating closely to fix the bugs. Again, there are some betas before the final version.
