Google’s smart watch has been speculated for years, but it has never become a reality. That should change next year. According to the portal PhoneArena marketing images have even appeared on the internet Google Pixel Watch.

Display completely without frames

Marketing images were published by Jon Prosser, the founder FronttechPage, in your YouTube video. If they are truly true, the design of the Pixel Watch will be significantly different from most smart watches on the market. The display of the watch is really without frames, because its cover glass literally flows to the sides. The whole body also looks rounded, simple and elegant at the same time.

On the back, of course, there will be classic sensors for measuring heart rate and other functions, but at least the front can be said to bring something new. Most of today’s smart watches with a round display have a circular ring, which is sometimes used for movement in the system. An example is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

We’ll see Google Pixel Watch next year

We are supposed to see the Smart Pixel Watch next year. Their code name is Rohan and the final name can still be changed until release. The same people who work behind other Pixel products work on them. This means that the development takes place outside the Fitbit company, which Google bought in November 2019.

However, Rick Osterloh, head of Google’s hardware department, for the server TheVerge confirmed that Fitbit is also preparing smart watches with Wear OS. Their performance could also take place next year. Pixel Watch from Google will offer a classic measurement of sports activities, a heart rate sensor and, of course, the Wear OS 3 operating system.
