A nod to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, which you can now call the largest Bitcoin stadium in the world. This is the Crypto.com Arena!
If you watch Formula 1, you have probably already noticed the collaboration with Crypto.com. You will hear that name more often. And also see. At least, the latter especially applies to Americans living in Los Angeles. The famous Staples Center has been given a new name. For the next 20 years it will be called the Crypto.com Arena. A contract has been signed for that period.
Is it a beautiful name? Ah, it produces flaps. That will be the most important thing for the stadium owners. The deal entails even more. For example, Crypto.com has been appointed as the crypto partner of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team, as well as the Sacramento Kings.
Here in the Netherlands, basketball is not as big as football. So we won’t get much of it on this side of the pond. But it is clear that Crypto.com is on the rise. The company was founded in 2016 and now has more than 10 million users. More than 3,000 people work at the company. Brand awareness is on the rise due to the deal in F1, the Crypto.com Arena is on top of that.
