For anyone who would like to try Squid Game for themselves but don’t feel like getting actually executed, this video game is perfect.
Everyone knows that Netflix’s Squid Game is an unprecedented hit. It is therefore not surprising that criminals used it with a fake crypto currency. Now the next (non-illegal) ripoff of the hit series is available. A clever developer came up with his own version of Squid Game in the form of a free video game called Crab Game. Yes, it’s so obviously a ripoff, but it’s also surprisingly fun.

Currently, Crab Game on Steam has nearly 50,000 unique players risking their lives in children’s games. To put that into perspective, remember hit games Among Us and Fall Guys? Although these games are a lot older, they only attract about 15,000 players every month. In short, Crab Game is quite a hit.
It is of course beneficial that everyone and their mother would like to try out Squid Game without actually dying, which makes a video game the perfect medium. Players first gather in a lobby (the sleeping area of the series) and must indicate when they are ready to start.
