CD Projekt postponed next-gen update of Sorcerer and Cyberpunk -apkrig
The developers of the Project RED CD have sharply cut off a few hours old speculation that we could look forward to the next-gen update of Sorcerer 3 relatively soon, when they announced its postponement in a short statement on Twitter. It does not only apply to Geralt’s last adventure, but also to the game Cyberpunk 2077, which was also supposed to introduce more detailed graphics and smoother gameplay on the new consoles through improvements. Regardless of the developers’ wish to catch up with at least one update this year, these versions have been postponed until next year. And surprisingly, the improved version of Sorcerer 3 is more distant than the problematic Cyberpunk 2077.
“We have important information for you related to the next-gen updates of Cyberpunk 2077 and Sorcerer 3: Wild Hunt on Console and PC. After agreeing with the teams that oversee both titles, we decided to postpone it to 2022, “says most of the developers’ message in translation. The essential thing comes in the second sentence, namely that Cyberpunk 2077 in the next-gen version will be available during the first quarter of next year and the Sorcerer 3 in the next quarter. However, the developers did not provide any further details and in the end only apologized for referring to the wish that they wanted to do their job as best they could.
The message drew considerable attention to itself and recorded a number of reactions in a short time. Players are definitely not satisfied with the development of the situation in the field of both of these games, although words of support and acceptance of the fact that fans will have to wait longer for updates in exchange for the completeness of the whole experience. However, not everyone is willing to believe that the result will be satisfactory, especially after Cyberpunk 2077, and they remain very skeptical about the RED Project CD. However, it should be noted that while the next-gen update of Cyberpunk 2077 is created directly in the Project CD, the improved version of Sorcerer 3 is the responsibility of people from Saber Interactive, including the authors of Sorcerer 3 for Switch. Around them, live in recent hours thanks to an entry in the database of the PEGI rating commission, which the next-gen version of The Sorcerer 3 went through yesterday, according to the indicated date. For a while, it seemed that with regard to the data of previously released versions, the update could be explicitly in sight, but the reality could not be further from this wish.
