Netflix is becoming more expensive for existing app store customers
From November 2021, existing App Store customers will also have to pay more for their Netflix subscription. Those who took out their subscription through the Apple offer benefited from a comparatively lower price.
Netflix will be more expensive from November 2021 – for existing App Store customers. Until the end of 2018 it was possible to take out a Netflix subscription via the app store and pay via Apple’s billing system. Apple customers who have used this must now expect their subscription price to be adjusted. The streaming provider is currently informing its customers about this.

In future, Netflix customers who have subscribed to the App Store will have to pay the usual prices of 7.99 euros per month for a basic subscription, 12.99 euros for a standard subscription or 17.99 euros for a premium subscription counting.
Currently, the App Store Netflix subscribers still benefit from the old standard price of 11.99 euros per month. It has gradually ceased to apply to new and existing customers since 2021, when the standard subscription was increased from EUR 11.99 to EUR 12.99.
The subscription, from which the App Store Netflix subscribers benefited, has not been available since the end of 2018. Since then, it has no longer been possible to take out such a subscription via the app store, but previously concluded contracts remain valid. In the App Store, customers could also benefit from Apple credit promotions, which had an indirect effect on the Netflix subscription.
