Mobvoi quietly updated TicWatch Pro 3 and TicWatch E3

The Wear OS operating system is not only revived thanks to Samsung and its Galaxy Watch4. Mobvoi also makes quality watches with this system, and now it looks like it has quietly updated its models TicWatch Pro 3 a TicWatch E3.

TicWatch Pro 3 and TicWatch E3 have a new Snapdragon Wear 4100 Plus

They run on the Snapdragon Wear 4100 chipset. Out of nowhere, it appeared on the company’s official website that the watch now runs on the platform. Snapdragon Wear 4100 Plus, which was also confirmed by Amazon. The details of the product also mention the so-called Dual System Platform, which is one of the features of the new chipset. Interestingly, Mobvoi did not inform the public or the editors about this change. Yes, this is a relatively small change, as the Plus version does not offer as many improvements over the standard version, but it is certainly an interesting benefit for new customers.

In the meantime, the editors from the notebookcheck server tested the new TicWatch E3 watch, but in their case the chipset is still the same. However, it is possible that their piece has only been in stock for a long time, so it is still the original watch, which we also reviewed for you by the way.
