Type faster with QuickPath in Dutch
QuickPath finally has support for Dutch since iOS 15. That’s great, because then you can really start using this feature from now on. You must first enable the function and you can do that in the following way.
How to enable QuickPath swipe keyboard on iPhone:
- Open the ‘Settings’ app;
- Scroll down and tap on ‘General’;
- Tap ‘Keyboard’;
- Scroll down and turn on your Swipe to Type feature.
Type by swiping with Quickpath on your iPhone
If you want to type something, you don’t have to touch the letters one by one. Instead, swipe the keyboard and don’t take your finger off the screen. You don’t exactly have to “swipe together” the word either. If you are close to the correct letter, the function already works.
If you want to type a word with the same letter twice in succession, you only have to type the letter once. For example, if you want to swipe ‘phone’ on the swipe keyboard, you only have to swipe the letters ‘telefo n’ together. Your iPhone will then automatically turn it into ‘phone’ again. Also handy to know: you can type a space by briefly removing your finger from the screen.
