The rapper is so much more than just a rapper. He is a media personality, actor, songwriter and businessman. Snoop Dogg has announced that he is collaborating with the non-fungible token (NFT) metaverse project called Sandbox. Essentially, Sandbox is a gaming ecosystem where people can create, share and monetize NFTs and gaming experiences on Ethereum (ETH). On September 22, several websites reported how Snoop revealed his secret online personality, Cozomo de Medici, a character who owns millions of dollars in NFTs. So he is doing well and apparently that makes you want more.
The Sandbox
Snoop is now moving on to the NFT game and the partnership with Sandbox means Snoop will create his mansion in the Sandbox metaverse. Players can then experience Snoop parties and concerts. They can also play the role of Snoop. Furthermore, the announcement states that the ‘Doggfather’ is launching an NFT collection and a limited ‘Snoop Dogg Private Party Pass’.
“The Snoop Dogg Private Party Pass gives users VIP access to concerts, events, Q&As and special NFT drops,” the announcement reads. “Snoop Dogg will also launch a 3D avatar collection in The Sandbox and players will be able to create games using virtual ‘Doggfather’ items. Such as Snoop Dogg’s personal car collection, dogs, statues, memorabilia and more.”
Snoop Dogg himself: ‘I’m always looking for new ways to connect with fans’. And of course to earn some cash.
