The Czech racing game Engine Evolution 2021 -apkrig is published
Czech developer Petr Šimůnek has been working tirelessly on the racing motorcycle game Engine Evolution for several years. After all, we also paid attention to her in the Vortex and interviewed Petra two years ago in a vidcast. The game is still evolving and an early access version of Engine Evolution 2021 arrived on Steam yesterday. You can download it for free because it relies on a free-to-play model.
For the first time ever, the Engine Evolution 2021 also offers a first-person perspective, which is something that players have been calling for from the beginning, says Petr Šimůnek.
“Compared to my older games, this more tuned multiplayer offers visuals, performance and overall design,” wrote Petr Šimůnek. Engine Evolution 2021 attracts about dozens of real machines, real circuits and thorough customization. The main difference compared to the previous game is seen by its author in scope. In a preliminary access program, the title should spend approximately two to four months. During that time, Petr Šimůnek would like to fix bugs, add more bikes and tracks, and even improve the graphics.
The game will offer a total of 15 circuits and eight generations of motorcycles. For the first time ever, the Engine Evolution 2021 also offers a first-person perspective, which is something that players have been calling for from the beginning, says Petr Šimůnek. However, as he points out on Facebook, this is an alternative and the models have not been specially adapted for this yet. For example, alarm clocks do not work. The individual tracks also went through an evolution to offer even more interesting racing.
The game is available on Steam. Petr Šimůnek also prepared a special bonus code for Vortex readers. Before the first race, enter the password “vortex-invite-2021” and thanks to it you will get 250 gold coins and a premium account for 7 days. If you don’t want to jump into the game right away, you can at least look at the new trailer next to the current screenshots.
An older version called Engine Evolution 2020, which came out last May, is still available on Steam, so make sure you reach for the right year.
