Xiaomi Mix 4
About four years after the announcement of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, there is the new Mix 4. No longer with the addition of Mi, but a new smartphone that should follow the Mi Mix 3. The Xiaomi Mix 4 is a smartphone where everything revolves around the best of the best. We see this reflected in the specifications of the smartphone. The Mix 4 is Xiaomi’s first smartphone with an under-display camera. The 20 megapixel front camera is placed behind the screen, so you can’t see it.
The screen itself is a curved OLED screen with a size of 6.67 inches and a Full HD+ resolution. Features of the screen include the 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for extra protection and sturdiness, and HDR10+ support. Xiaomi’s smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 888+ chipset, a hugely powerful SoC from Qualcomm. There is also 8/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB of storage. On Android 11 comes the MIUI 12.5 interface.
The rear camera has also received a fair amount of attention. The main camera has 108 megapixels and offers OIS. There is also a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens and finally an 8-megapixel periscope lens. This lets you zoom in optically 5x. Then there is the 4500 mAh battery. Thanks to the 120W charging option, you can charge it in boost mode in 15 minutes. Wireless charging is also an option, with 50W; this takes 28 minutes.
For now, it is only known that the device will be released in China. If there is more information about a release in Europe, we will of course keep you informed. In China, the price starts at about 660 euros. Incidentally, this says nothing about the price in our country; this amount is excluding taxes and duties.
