Fan favorite disappears after just three months

The Xbox Game Pass has a sizeable library of games to offer. A particularly well-known game is now disappearing from the service – although it has only been there for three months.

With GTA 5, a blockbuster highlight is available in the already impressive range of the Xbox Game Pass. But while GTA 5 is a real long-running favorite with fans and has consistently been one of the most played games since the first release in 2013, it should unfortunately disappear from the Game Pass after a short time.

GTA 5: Only a short comeback in Xbox Game Pass

Xbox added GTA 5 to the Game Pass library again in April 2021 after a long absence. The comeback of the audience favorite but apparently only lasts about three months. On the official game pass website the game is currently listed under the heading “disappearing soon”.

Usually this means that games will be removed in the second week of the following month. So would have Game Pass subscribers only have two weeks leftto play the game for free. If you want to buy the game afterwards, you will receive a 20 percent discount as a Game Pass member.

Xbox Game Pass: GTA 5 with a brief appearance

It’s unknown why GTA 5 is only available on Xbox Game Pass for such a limited time. If this could possibly be related to the upcoming next-gen upgrade, which will be released on November 11th, is unclear. In addition to GTA 5, the games It Lurks Below, UnderMine and The Touryst will also leave the service.
