Samsung One UI 3.1.1 coming, these phones get the update
Samsung is going to release One UI 3.1.1 together with the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3. It will be the last version before the major update to Android 12 appears, but many Galaxy phones will receive this new version of the software shell soon.
Samsung OneUI 3.1.1
When Samsung launches new flagships, you can be sure that it will also further improve its One UI shell. With the arrival of two foldable devices, the Z Fold 3 and Z flip 3, that will be the case again. This time it concerns a small update called One UI 3.1.1.
Very little is known about the improvements of this version. According to GalaxyClub that has seen posts on the South Korean Samsung forum, the brand is coming with improvements for the Pro mode in the camera app. That feature will also work for the telephoto camera of phones.
These phones get the update
According to another forum post from South Korea, many Galaxy phones will receive this update before the larger One UI 4.0 update with Android 12 appears. These phones are expected to get the update:
- Galaxy S21 series
- Galaxy S20 series
- Galaxy S10 series
- Galaxy Fold / Galaxy Z Fold 2 / Galaxy Z Flip
- Galaxy Note 20 (Ultra)
- Galaxy Note 10 series
- Galaxy A32 / Galaxy A42 / Galaxy A52 / Galaxy A72
- Galaxy A51 / Galaxy A71
In practice, even more phones from Samsung could receive the update to One UI 3.1.1, and the manufacturer may later confirm which devices are being prepared for the new version.
