Google has arrived in the upper class
With the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, Google finally wants to attack where it has always failed compared to the competition. That is why the company will no longer make compromises in many areas, as the first photos should prove.
Google Pixel 6 Pro with high-end camera
Admittedly, the Pixel smartphones have always had a good camera. However, the competition has caught up so massively in recent years that Google’s software optimizations have reached their limits. I notice that with the Pixel 5, the current flagship smartphone from Google, which I use alongside the Samsung Galaxy S21. Those days are over with the Pixel 6 Pro. Google is shooting at all odds and will probably bring the best Pixel phone of all time to the start. First photos show the design (Source: TechDroider on Youtube):
What do we see in the photos? First of all, the strange design of the back is confirmed, which has appeared in a few leaks beforehand. The brand new camera can also be seen there. A large main sensor, ultra wide angle and periscope telephoto lens are used, which finally enables a real zoom that is not realized via the software. Another sensor is installed that cannot currently be identified. A 3D sensor that measures the distance would be conceivable.
On the front, the Google Pixel 6 Pro also looks contemporary. A very large display with rounded sides is used. The hole for the front camera is comparatively small. Overall, the smartphone looks very large in the hand and almost borderless. Looks much more appealing from the front than its predecessor.

Google Pixel 6 Pro could get expensive
If you look at the significantly better technical data for the camera and display, its own processor and other details, the Pixel 6 Pro could be really expensive. The Pixel 5 was just over 600 euros, the Pixel 6 Pro could land close to the 1,000 euro mark – at least that’s our assessment. The new Google cell phone is due to be presented in autumn, then we will know more.
