Where refunds are still possible – and how

Anyone who waited this far to claim back for their copy of Cyberpunk 2077 is running late. Some channels are still open, but the final deadlines are imminent.
After the catastrophic start of “Cyberpunk 2077”, the manufacturer CD Red Projekt and the platform operators rushed to offer the injured parties reversals. Some of the refund options have already expired, others are about to expire. The reason for this is the number of updates that make the title playable again.

Epic and Steam: Goodwill possible
While the statutory withdrawal period ends after two weeks, many shops offer extended options. So you can still apply for a refund on Steam afterwards, for example if you have recently downloaded the game. From then on, Steam grants a two-week period. Basic requirement: The game has been played for less than two hours. Incidentally, this also applies to Epic.
In addition, under certain circumstances, a goodwill refund can be obtained. In this case, an employee will check your request personally. On Steam you have to log in with the account with which you bought Cyberpunk and click on https://help.steampowered.com/de switch. After you have selected the game, you choose the point Technical problems and the corresponding problem. With one click on I want to request a refund get the process going. Steam either automatically accepts the refund or the support team will contact you. At Epic you go over Manage account on Transactions. There you look for the cyberpunk purchase and expand the field. A button that says Refund request shows up. After clicking on it, you have to select and confirm the reason for the return. Epic will then contact you by email.
Sony form expired, Microsoft sets deadline
Playstation gamers, on the other hand, are late with such a concern. The Refund form went offline on June 18th as announced. However, anyone who has bought Cyberpunk within the last 14 days can go the regular route. For a refund, the game must either not have been downloaded yet or it must be faulty. Sony provides a form, in which the necessary information is noted.
X-Box players are more lucky to meet the deadline for that Refunds on Cyberpunk purchases will expire July 6th. From then on, only the conventional way is open. GOG with 30 days notice – CD-Red program Help me expired
You can request a refund within 30 days on the CD Projekt Red gaming platform. GOG also has goodwill cases with more time. On the page you navigate to the support section. There is an extra form available for inquiries to GOG. Cyberpunk 2077 is the name of the appropriate topic. When completing the form, you should describe the problem in detail. After sending, you will either receive an automatic refund or an email with queries. The specially set up refund program “Help me” by the publisher CD Projekt Red expired in December.
