New security update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and Moto G8 Plus

Samsung and Motorola have released a new update for a total of two devices. First up is the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, and a new update is also ready for the Moto G8 Plus.

Security update for Galaxy S20 FE and Moto G8 Plus

Good news for the owners of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and the Moto G8 Plus. Both Samsung and Motorola have prepared a new security patch for these two smartphones. Marianne informs DroidApp that the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will be offered the March security update. It is an update of 186.24MB in size and as far as is known only brings the new security patch. There are therefore no major changes and such, although they were recently rolled out through the One UI 3.1 update.

Andries let us know that there is also an update for the Moto G8 Plus. This unit is being updated with the February security update. Again, we do not see any major changes and the changes seem to be mainly related to safety. The updates will be rolled out from now on.
