Samsung Galaxy A71 receives update to Android 11 and One UI 3.1
Samsung is a leader in updating their smartphones. Today, the popular middle-class model – Samsung Galaxy A71 – was updated to One UI 3.1 with Android 11.
The update is marked A715FXXU3BUB5 and a size of approximately 2.7 GB. In addition to the update to Android 11, it also brings a February security patch, informs the SamMobile portal. It’s a pretty big update, especially since the Galaxy A71 is updated directly from One UI 2.5 to One UI 3.1.

The update is already available for users in Poland and it will not be long before it reaches us. You can check its availability in the settings in the Software update section.
What will One UI 3.1 bring?
One UI 3.1, in addition to the features available in Android 11, offers others such as Nearby Share, Samsung Free (which replaces Samsung Daily), double-tap to lock the phone and more. Notifications have also changed, and available widgets will now appear when you hold down the app icon. Among other things, One UI 3.1 brings with it small changes in the design of the user environment.
Competition
Huawei recently updated several models for the EMUI 11 superstructure – Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, Mate 20 Pro and Nova 5T. Android 11 was also given to users of the OnePlus Nord smartphone, which was updated to the OxygenOS 11 extension this week.
