The S Pen gets new features
Premium tablets Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 a Galaxy Tab S7+ they try to partially replace the classic computer with their functions. The manufacturer offers an optional touchpad keyboard and each has an additional S Pen. And just the function of the S Pen according to the portal GSMarena improves new tablet software update.
Improved typing, including Samsung Notes
The update should arrive for tablets later this month. The new functions are part of the One UI 3.1 extension, which has already brought the tablet the ability to turn it into a secondary display to a PC, for example. However, the new functions mainly concern the S Pen. It supports font recognition writing by default.
Until now, however, it worked in applications by clicking on the typing box, the Samsung keyboard popped out, and then typing on it. The system then rewrote the text in the box. After the update, however, it should be possible to write written text in the text boxes of the applications directly. For example, if you want to enter a website address in a web browser, type it directly into the url line in written text.
The question is whether this type of typing will be more comfortable than the classic Samsung keyboard. In addition, Samsung Notes for Notes should have an automatic conversion feature Pen to text. It has over 80 languages to support, just like the Samsung keyboard. The manufacturer has also fixed a problem with the recognition of the symbols “v” and “⌒”, which are used to separate and join words, respectively. Samsung Notes will also be able to scan and edit documents that you scan with the tablet camera.
Support for Galaxy Buds Pro headphones with the new 360 audio function
The update also brings support for the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro bluetooth headset with a new feature called 360 Audio. It should sense the movement of your head and thus better direct the intensity of the sound to your head. In practice, it looks like if you move your head to the side in front of the tablet, the sound will be more intense in the earpiece, which is closer to the tablet. However, this feature should be available as part of the One Ui 3.1 extension for other older Galaxy devices, such as the Galaxy Tab S6 and GalaxyTab S6 Lite tablets.
