Xiaomi attracts to the premiere of Redmi K40, what can we look forward to?

The sub-brand of the Chinese predator Xiaomi is starting to entice us to the premiere of the Redmi K40. With its equipment, it should fall into the upper-middle class, but with a sympathetically set price. As part of the Redmi brand, only cheaper smartphones are imported to us, but it is possible that we will see the Redmi K40 later – for example under the Poco logo or directly Xiaomi Mi. So let’s see what the novelty should offer.

The Redmi K40 bets on three cameras

More or less the only officially confirmed information can be read from the teaser released today. In the picture we can see the module module on the back of an as yet undiscovered novelty. At first glance, it is clear that the Redmi K40 will also go in this direction in the same direction as the Xiaomi Mi 11 and reduces the number of cameras on his back to 3. So far, we can only guess, but it is very likely that this will be a set consisting of a standard primary, super wide-angle and macro camera. For “better resolution” Redmi K40 and more equipped models, it is theoretically possible that instead of a macro camera, we will only see a sensor for better capture of depth of field. However, from our point of view, this is rather less probable. It can also be seen in the picture two-tone LED backlight and laser focus.

The shape of the frame into which the back of the phone overflows is also interesting. At the moment, we can only speculate whether the Redmi K40 can be pulled out with a combination of metal and glass or as part of the cost savings with plastic. However, the leaks regarding the chipset used are much more interesting. The flagship Snapdragon 888 should allegedly be kept by Redmi for the Redmi K40 Pro model. The Redmi K40 knocking on the door should rely on a slightly weaker, but still very powerful Snapdragon 870. According to the Chinese certification authority, we should then look forward to a battery with a capacity 4 500 mAh, Android 11 a AMOLED displays with a shot. According to various leaks, it should come with a 120Hz refresh rate. The premiere of the Redmi K40 should take place already 25th February. The price for the domestic market would do so should not exceed CZK 10,000.
