There has never been a smartwatch like this before
Samsung will hold the next Unpacked event at the end of July 2023, where new smartphones, tablets and smartwatches will be presented. Many details have already been leaked in advance. But now a real surprise comes to light, because Samsung would like to offer a completely new smartwatch version. The company would thus cover a new area.
Samsung is planning a business smartwatch
According to current information, Samsung is expected to present the successors to the Galaxy Watch 5 generation on July 26, 2023. The Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are to be presented in two sizes each. Now it has become known that Samsung is planning a real surprise. That’s how it should be Galaxy Watch 6 will also appear in a special business version (Source: @SnoopyTech).
Samsung already offers some smartphones and tablets in an “Enterprise Edition” version aimed at business customers. These devices usually have one longer warranty and additional security optionsthat companies use to protect and configure devices. Samsung does not currently have a smartwatch that is intended for this area.
So far, however, it is not entirely clear whether the Galaxy Watch 6 Business only differs in terms of the software and longer warranty, or whether it is maybe a higher quality lens with new bracelets and materials. The normal models are more geared towards leisure and sports and not to the business world. With this, Samsung could appeal to a completely new customer base that is looking for a somewhat higher-quality smartwatch.

Samsung brings back the rotating bezel
Compared to the Galaxy Watch 4 generation, Samsung has dispensed with a Classic model for the Galaxy Watch 5 generation and has launched a Pro model without a physically rotating bezel. That should change again with the Galaxy Watch 6 generation. This time there will actually be a Galaxy Watch 6 Classic again, which will be available in two sizes.
