All three Under Armor pairs (HOVR Machina 2, HOVR Infinite 3 and HOVR Sonic 4) will work with the application MapMyRun, which Under Armor bought in 2015. The application is constantly improving, it has even become an intelligent coaching platform. The company says a million pairs of shoes have been paired with MapMyRun. What’s more, a study of 87,000 anonymous users found that users who used the coaching platform were 7% faster than those who ran without a virtual coach.
