Motorola will prepare a rugged smartphone soon
Only recently has the news emerged that Motorola is about to produce a rugged smartphone. The manufacturer has entered into a long-term partnership with a company producing durable smartphones – Bullitt, according to the Android Authority.
Both companies are reluctant to work together, so we don’t know exactly what Motorola is up to. According to existing Bullitt equipment, we can expect shockproof and shockproof equipment. We can expect water resistance and dust resistance, as well as a rough body, as is already the case with durable smartphones.
Bullitt is not a well-known brand in our country, but it also created mobile phones abroad, which were later sold under the Kodak or Land Rover brand.
Motorola has already produced a durable smartphone
That’s right, Motorola already has experience with rugged smartphones. From 2015 to 2017, its portfolio also included smartphones with the name Force. They were smartphones that had an unbreakable display. These were the three models – Motorola X Force, Motorola Z Force, Motorola Z2 Force. These phones were not really durable, not in terms of CAT devices. They didn’t even have the basic water resistance, but they looked durable and maybe they could handle harder treatment somewhere on the construction site.
At the time, they were trying to compete with Samsung and its Active line. Samsungs had the upper hand because they were waterproof and their construction also met the military certification MIL-STD-810G. This provided them with resistance to salt, moisture, rain and radiation, so they were more suitable for various demanding conditions.
