They don’t give up: scammers are constantly trying to use new methods to get money out of the pockets of innocent citizens. The latest telephone scam specifically targets savings bank customers. The savings bank is now warning of the calls.
Some calls can really cost money. But this does not only apply to expensive competitions or horoscope hotlines. The Sparkasse Duisburg is currently warning of fake calls with which Sparkasse customers are being duped in a very targeted manner.
Sparkasse warns of new telephone fraud
The trick works like this: Fraudsters call Sparkasse customers and pretend to be employees of the security department of the Sparkasse Duisburg on the phone.
