App of the Week: Feelsy promises a slime feeling
When an app is called Feelsy, it can go many ways, but in the case of this one it’s about two things: slime and relaxation. We don’t entirely agree, although there are certainly factors that make this app a very worthy App of the Week.

Slime
It was a huge trend among children for a long time, fueled by social media and the idea that you can make it yourself: slime. Something that creates a nice feeling of nostalgia in many adults. Only those dirty hands, that smell and those stains it sometimes leaves behind, that’s a bit less. You don’t have to, because you now have slime on your smartphone. In app form.
Feelsy promises to be a kind of slime experience on the smartphone and hangs this on de-stressing. You can also do breathing exercises in this app, but we don’t expect many people to use the app for that. But we don’t expect that from the slime either. that is not necessarily the best experience that Feelsy has to offer. There are much better experiences out there. Now it is personal which type of experience suits you best, but we really enjoyed the variant where you can make drawings with a kind of smoke that disappear after a few seconds.
Feelsy
It’s quite fun to play with it for a while. OK, a little longer. Okay, just before going to sleep. It doesn’t make any sense at all, but it’s still fascinating. The way shapes emerge on screen, how quickly they disappear again: it feels a bit like a cat with a laser. Would we immediately subscribe to it, not so quickly, but it is an app that is unexpectedly entertaining. You can also choose the background music yourself, such as soothing jungle sounds or dripping water.
The nice thing about this app is that there are so many different materials to choose from, that you will be busy for a while anyway. Furthermore, no information is required from you, so we – and we say this often – do ask you to pay close attention to whether you can find what the app expects from you in return. Although the design of the app does not necessarily seem very aimed at children, it is certainly an app that is ideal to keep a child busy for a while. Or, as we have experienced, an adult.
