While the hacker known under the pseudonym Pompompurin has reportedly been arrested by the FBI, the firm Trendforce suggests that mechanical hard drives could soon disappear and Open AI unveils the list of only 34 professions that should be spared by artificial intelligence.

Orange subscribers, beware of this new scam
A particularly well-crafted new scam is currently targeting Orange subscribers. Indeed, hackers are trying to recover your personal data through a dummy email that imitates the operator’s original emails in every way. Be careful, if you find the address [email protected]do not click on any links.

Microsoft Technician Turns to Hacking Software
When this independent IT specialist contacted Microsoft after-sales service because he was unable to activate Windows, he did not expect to see the technician using hacking software to achieve his ends. Indeed, as Bleeping Computer explains, the after-sales technician recovered a version of activation scripts for Windows from the Massgrave site. Microsoft has since assured to investigate.

One of the biggest forums of cybercriminals in the sights of the FBI
Already known to the American secret services, Conor Brian Fitzpatrick, alias Pompompurin, was arrested last week by the FBI. This New Yorker is said to be responsible for one of the biggest hacker forums, Breachforums, on which it is possible to buy personal data stolen anywhere in the world. The site, now taken offline by the authorities, had around 330,000 hackers.

ChatGPT: only 34 trades would be spared
We all wonder if certain professions are likely to disappear since the arrival of ChatGPT. Indeed, artificial intelligence continues to develop and should gradually be adopted by many companies. OpenAI therefore wondered which trades could be impacted by its chatbot and according to the company, only 34 trades, all with manual skills, are spared.

Are hard drives in danger of disappearing?
Trendforce recently revealed that SSD prices are expected to continue to drop this year, making high-capacity storage solutions ever more affordable. That’s good news for home users, but it means that mechanical hard drives with a capacity of less than 2TB and microSD cards of 32 or 64GB could disappear by the end of the year.
