Samsung Galaxy A52s and Nokia X20 receive February update

Samsung and Nokia are rolling out a new update for their devices. This is the case for the Samsung Galaxy A52s and the Nokia X20, both of which are offered the February update.

February update for A52s and X20

We start with the Samsung Galaxy A52s. The mid-end smartphone still has to wait for an update to One UI 5.1, if it becomes available for the device. However, the Korean manufacturer has already prepared another update. Users of the Samsung Galaxy A52s can now download the February security update on their device. Roelf and Ricardo let DroidApp know this. In addition to Google’s patches, there are also Samsung’s own patches.

The update for the Samsung Galaxy A52s only brings the new security patch so far. Again, the changelog mentions that bug fixes and improvements can always be made. That seems to be the case given the size of the update. The update for the Galaxy A52s has a size of about 255MB.

Nokia X20

HMD Global is also rolling out an update for its own device. Marcel informs us that the Nokia X20 will be updated with a new update. It is also the February security update. This addresses several dozen vulnerabilities in the Android system. The smartphone will receive a 120 MB update with the latest patch and it will be rolled out to the device from now on.
