Android in January
There was again a lot of news to report in the first month of 2023. First of all, we would like to share with you the overview with the 30 best apps of 2022 and our summary in the Android Annual Overview 2022. The month of January was again dominated by many rumors. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series in particular received a lot of attention. OnePlus also had this with the OnePlus 11, which has already been announced for China. The European release is scheduled for February 7. Motorola also presented five new smartphones, including the Moto G53 and the Moto G13.
Several streaming services rose in price. We saw this at ViaPlay and at Disney +. Furthermore, you can now pay with your debit card or smartphone at the NS and KPN is launching a new TV box with Android TV. You can choose this at KPN TV+. Facebook introduced a new overview of missed updates and WhatsApp will soon allow you to adjust the photo quality, finally.

Google Clock
Google has released an update for the Google Clock app. In Google Clock 7.4, some options have been replaced with larger buttons, so that you can operate them more easily. Handy, because you no longer have to swipe a slider to the left or right to snooze or switch off the alarm, but you can simply press a button directly. Google also refreshed the timer in this version.
PhoNo
The use of the smartphone behind the wheel regularly causes major problems; Using a smartphone on a bicycle is not only life-threatening, but also prohibited. There is the PhoNo app especially for young people, but actually every cyclist. Turn it on while cycling and you raise money for a good cause.
From now on it is possible to send messages to yourself in WhatsApp. A new server-side update added this feature.
