This smartphone is selling better than expected
Xiaomi is currently not having an easy time on the smartphone market. That’s why the company and especially the Xiaomi founders have recently been more busy celebrating successes publicly. This time, Xiaomi boss Lei Jun shared which phone is selling faster than planned. But questions remain.
Xiaomi 12T Pro is selling better than expected
When launching new products on the market, every company sets goals that it intends to achieve. This also applies to smartphone manufacturers such as Xiaomi. If these goals are then exceeded, the success is happily shared to show the high level of interest in the product. This is exactly what happened with Xiaomi now. Founder and boss Lei Jun announced on Twitter that the Xiaomi 12T Pro sold much faster than previously planned:
The Xiaomi 12T Pro came onto the market a few months ago and will be sold in the second half of the year as a slightly cheaper alternative to the normal Xiaomi 12 Pro (test). For example, although it is cheaper, it comes with the 200 MP camera is a unique selling point to offer that is very well received by buyers. According to the Xiaomi boss, the feedback on the smartphone is very positive.
Unfortunately, the founder of the company did not say how many pieces of the Xiaomi 12T Pro were actually sold. Accordingly, it is also not really possible to assess whether the internal expectations of the Estate were relatively low anyway and whether the success is less than expected. Either way is Xiaomi happy with the salesotherwise the boss would not share this publicly.
Here’s what we think of Xiaomi 12T Pro:
Xiaomi 13 is coming soon
While the Xiaomi 12T Pro is currently still generating a lot of interest, this could change with the launch of the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro for the international market at the latest. The Chinese company has invited to an event on February 27, 2023 in Barcelona during the MWC 2023. The presentation is expected there. So far, the Xiaomi 13 phones are only available in China.
