The main iPhone 15 rumours
The new year has started and this will be the year of the iPhone 15. But what are the new features? And what remains with the old? We already know this about Apple’s latest iPhone!
1. Dimensions: much remains the same
It is almost certain that there will also be four new iPhones this year. Two 6.1-inch iPhones: the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Pro. And if you find that too small, you should go with the larger (6.7-inch) iPhone 15 Plus or the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Striking: in many rumors, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is also called the iPhone 15 Ultra.
2. Processor: Pro models get the fastest chip
Both the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max have a new chip on board. The A17 chip is rumored to be even more energy efficient, partly thanks to a new production process (3nm).
The regular iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus are equipped with an A16 chip. This chip can already be found in the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
3. Camera: Periscope lens and 48 MP
According to several rumors, the camera of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will get an upgrade. The 48 MP camera of the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is coming to both devices. This gives you four times as many pixels for your photos. This allows you to capture a lot more detail in your photos.

Something will also change with the Pro models. They get a periscope lens. This allows you to zoom in further (optically!) than ever on an iPhone. According to the usually reliable Ming-Chi Kuo, you can zoom in up to 6 times with this lens.
4. More iPhone 15 Rumors
According to analyst Jeff Pu, the working memory will also get a boost: both Pro models will get 8GB of working memory. In addition, he says that the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) will also have a titanium housing. According to him, the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus have 6GB of RAM.
He also says that the iPhone 15 will have special buttons that you cannot physically press. You can still ‘feel’ that you are pressing the button, but the button does not actually move. The iPhone 15 uses special vibration motors to give you the feeling of pressing the button.
