Sony is giving away Star Wars hits – but only for a short time
The expansion of the PS Plus library will continue in 2023. Starting today, three more games are available for free with the PS Plus subscription. You can find out which games are involved and where you can get them in our overview.
PS Plus: New free games in January
PS Plus subscribers can be happy again, because Sony is showing again today three games ready. As usual, there are no further costs for the games once the subscription has been taken out. They’re available for free with PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Premium starting today.
Nothing has changed in the procedure: for one month you will have the opportunity to play the three games into your game library. Once secured, the full versions can be played as you wish without any ifs or buts, as long as you continue to pay for the subscription.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (PS4/PS5)
A new adventure in the galaxy awaits you in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. In this third-person action-adventure, you take on the role of a lonely Padawan who must complete his training, learn new skills and learn the art of the lightsaber.
The game is available for the PlayStation 4 and 5 via PS Plus Essential.

Fallout 76 (PS4)
Fallout 76 is your chance to embark on an apocalypse adventure with friends. After emerging from Vault 76, discover the mysteries of West Virginia and rebuild the land with neighbors. Appalachia also offers numerous changing and seasonal challenges that you can use to unlock a variety of rewards, items and CAMP items.
The game is available for the PlayStation 4 via PS Plus Essential.

Axiom Verge 2 (PS4/PS5)
If you’ve played Axiom Verge, here’s the sequel that expands the universe and introduces all-new characters, abilities, and gameplay. You slip into the role of millionaire Indra, who goes to Antarctica to investigate the disappearance of her daughter. Instead of her daughter, however, she encounters a completely different reality, infected by parasitic machines.
The game is available for the PlayStation 4 and 5 via PS Plus Essential.
Axiom Verge 2 on PlayStation Store
PS Plus Essential for 60 euros a year
The PS Plus Essential subscription is still available for 60 euros. For that sum, there is access to online multiplayer and (usually) three games per month for the PlayStation 4 and 5. The PS4 games often also run on the PS5.
