Saving tips: How to save money in December 2022
1. Spotify Premium: Free for three months
Spotify currently offers 80 million songs. Meanwhile, a corresponding premium access makes it possible to listen to music without commercial breaks and to download content in order to stream it offline. Spotify also has over 70,000 German-language podcasts in its portfolio.
The premium subscription is currently free for three months for new customers if they deposit their PayPal payment data. Spotify Premium can be canceled monthly. If the subscription is not canceled within the three-month test phase, it is automatically renewed for ten euros per month.
Existing customers currently have the option of receiving Spotify Premium for three months for a total of ten euros. However, this only applies to existing customers who canceled their subscription before October 28, 2022. The offer is valid until December 31, 2022.
2. Bahn Card Business 25 currently 63 percent cheaper
business customers of German train currently have the option of getting the BahnCard Business 25 for EUR 49.90 instead of the regular EUR 134. Registration as a company with Bahn-Business is required. This can also be done through the employer.
The BahnCard, which is also valid for first class, can then also be used privately. Also included in the offer: 25 percent discount on the flex fare business, the flex fare and saver fares in first and second class. the action is valid until December 10th. The term ends automatically after one year.
3. Waipu.tv and Zattoo: Use free of charge for three months
The German Internet portal Web.de currently offers the option of using the TV streaming services Waipu.tv and Zattoo Trial free for three months with a premium subscription. Public broadcasters as well as various private broadcasters can be streamed live over the Internet using both services.
Unlike the free subscriptions, the premium subscriptions come with a few perks, including tuning in Full HD, pausing programs, and access to all major private channels.
After the three-month test phase, the subscription is automatically extended for another month at the regular price. The offer can only be completed and canceled with a Web.de account and runs until December 18, 2022.
4. Savings plan at the Consorsbank with a bonus of 20 euros
Who at the consor bank set up a securities savings plan and let it run for at least a year currently receives a bonus of 20 euros. The only requirement: a monthly investment of at least 25 euros. It is important, however, that no corresponding savings plan existed beforehand.
5. WOW: Sky streaming service 50 percent cheaper for six months

Both new and existing customers who do not currently have an active subscription can currently use all subscription models for six months at a discount of 50 percent.

After the six-month period, the subscriber can renew for a further month at the regular price. The offer runs until December 5, 2022 and can be canceled at any time at the end of the month.
