In 2020, Motorola released the Motorola G9 series, consisting of three different devices. The manufacturer is now rolling out a new security update for the Moto G9 Play, Plus and Power in the Benelux. We summarize the details.

Moto G9 series with September update

A software update is ready for all three devices from the Moto G9 series. This means that three models will be updated with a new security update. The smartphones from this series were each released in 2020 and have already blown out two candles. However, it does not mean that the manufacturer has forgotten the devices, and so a new update is being rolled out in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The new update is security update September 2022. According to information from Google, several dozen vulnerabilities are addressed in the security of Android.
