Sky has something to give away
It took a long time, but “House of the Dragon”, the long-awaited prequel series to “Game of Thrones”, has been running on pay TV since the end of August – in this country on Sky. But the pay TV provider also has something to give away, because the first episode can now be watched for free. As? We’ll tell you.
Without a doubt, “Game of Thrones” was and is the most successful series of the pay-TV provider HBO. To be seen in Germany on Sky. Three years after the end, the series with the back story finally started in August 2022. House of the Dragon takes place about 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. What’s the matter?

The first episode of “House of the Dragon” entitled “Die Erben des Drachen” is available for free on YouTube, provided by Sky (watch on youtube). In order for this to work, however, you must log in with your Google account that has been age-verified. Important to know: The retrieval only works domestically. The episode cannot be viewed for free abroad.

The first season of “House of the Dragon” will consist of 10 episodes, three episodes have already been released. By the way, the future of the series is secured, because mother station HBO has already ordered a second season. So fans of “Game of Thrones” will be served in the coming years and the series universe will grow and grow.
