Fresh details about the new Assassin’s Creed leaked
Ubisoft recently confirmed a new game for the Assassin’s Creed series, Mirage. There is not much information about it yet, but a leaker has now revealed a few details.
Update from September 05, 2022: Shortly after the rumors and then the official confirmation from Ubisoft, new information about Assassin’s Creed Mirage was leaked. According to YouTuber and leaker jOnathan, the upcoming game will take place in the city of Baghdad.
In his video, he also talks about throwing knives and rooftop hideouts, as well as parkour opportunities in the city, which is said to be divided into several zones. Numerous NPCs on the streets would ensure that you can really immerse yourself in the game – you should also be able to look forward to some slow-motion assassinations.
Fans are wishing Ubisoft for more of a return to the roots of Assassin’s Creed with the latest game in the series. If the leaks are correct, it sounds like fans are getting what they want. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet. More information will follow on September 10 as part of Ubisoft Forward.
In this video, jOnathan shares what he already knows about the game:

Assassin’s Creed: Game series is growing
In the past week, numerous rumors have been circulating about a new Assassin’s Creed game and with Mirage the name was allegedly leaked as well. Numerous journalists, including Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier, confirmed the name. Nothing was official until recently – now Ubisoft has officially confirmed both the game and the name.
Not much is known about Assassin’s Creed Mirage. Along with the confirmation, the studio released a first concept image. Apparently, the upcoming game will guide the players to the Middle Eastand a typical assassin can also be seen.
“We can’t wait to tell you more about Ubisoft Forward on September 10th,” the company said in a tweet.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage: How are the fans reacting?
In the Twitter comments, the fans express themselves differently. While some are unconditionally looking forward to a new Assassin’s Creed, others react with skepticism and disappointment. Many have been hoping for a setting in Japan or China for years, but this time it’s going in a different direction.
However, most agree that Ubisoft will be back in the upcoming game more stealth rather than role-playing elements must put.
“I can’t wait for the reveal. If the rumors are true and it goes back to basics without an RPG-like system… boy can’t wait,” wrote Twitter user @L1GHTNING96, for example.
Whether they get that will probably show up in the upcoming stream.
