Huawei has announced new products, including new smartphones and a special smartwatch that allows you to get even more out of your health. It is the Huawei Watch D. We list the details.
Huawei with announcement
During the IFA in Berlin, Huawei announced several products. Including the interesting Huawei Watch D. This smartwatch shifts the focus to your health. The watch does this with a watch strap that can also inflate itself, as you may know from your doctor. This allows an accurate measurement of the EKG and blood pressure. According to Huawei, the new Watch D is medically certified in Europe, which should indicate that the information is accurate.
The Huawei Watch D has a rectangular AMOLED screen with a size of 1.64 inches and a resolution of 456 x 280 pixels. The watch weighs only 41 grams and also offers several sensors; such as a gyroscope, temperature, accelerometer and more. There is also a physical key on the side. Also present is NFC, GPS and an IP68 certification. According to the brand, the Huawei Watch D battery should last for 7 days and can handle Android 6.0 and iOS 12 and higher. The Watch D will be on the market at the end of this year for 399 euros.
Huawei Nova 10
The smartphone market is no longer very interesting for Huawei in Europe. Because of the American restrictions, the devices can no longer be released with Google services. Through its own channel, Huawei offers the Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro; two new smartphones with a stylish design. These are equipped with a 60-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel main camera. Furthermore, they have a 6.7-inch display, a Snapdragon 778G processor with, due to the restrictions, only 4G and a 4000/4600 mAh battery with 33W/100W charging. The price for the Nova 10 is 499 euros, the Nova 10 Pro for 649 euros. A release date has not yet been shared.
Huawei MatePad Pro
Huawei has also announced a new MatePad Pro tablet; a tablet with an 11.0 inch OLED screen, a thickness of only 5.9 millimeters and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. There will also be a 12.6-inch version. Information about this device has not been shared further.
