The four coolest gadgets
Not everyone is already familiar with the principle of crowdfunding, and that is normal. It’s still a relatively new concept, but one that can help creative people make a difference. You first support a great idea for a product, and then you can follow the progress until the package arrives at your door. These are the four coolest gadgets on crowdfunding websites.
1. ONE – automatic (bicycle) pump with battery
For who is it?
For everyone. Who likes to inflate bicycle tires themselves?
What is it?
The ONE is a new gadget on Kickstarter that in no time managed to collect more than 100,000 euros, while only 5,000 euros were asked. It is a reality: nobody likes to inflate bicycle tires, especially not when you are on the road. The ONE is a pump that you can also use for car and motorcycle tires and you preset the desired pressure. The device then works quickly and accurately.
Depending on the car you use, it takes 1 to 2 minutes to inflate a tire from 80 to 100 percent. For a bicycle tire it is a matter of seconds. Furthermore, the ONE also has a good battery life: a 7,800 mAh battery, good for 300 days of standby time. The device is also well designed with its 3.2 inch screen and buttons for operation. If you are in the dark, you can activate the LED light of the ONE. You can charge it with the USB-C port and the ONE weighs 819 grams.

3. MKON – wirelessly streams 4K images to a screen
For who is it?
For anyone who wants to connect a screen remotely, without a long cable
What is it?
Admittedly, this isn’t the sexiest gadget in the selection at first glance, but it is a very interesting product from a technical point of view. The MKON consists of a compact transmitter and a receiver. You connect the transmitter via USB-C or HDMI to a PC, smartphone, game console, camera or a set-top box. You can then plug the receiver into a monitor, TV or projector, or the screen on which you want to play the image. You no longer have to connect that screen with a cable.
It works wirelessly and with minimal delay thanks to 60 GHz mmWave technology. The transfer rate is 4 Gbps and there is a delay of less than 2.5 ms. The MKON is a convenient plug-and-play solution. The uses for this system are only limited by your imagination.

4. BORDO Mini – handy wallet with RFID protection
For who is it?
For anyone who hates their current wallet
What is it?
The BORDO Mini takes a different approach to the classic design of a wallet. It is the size of a banknote and you can also roll it up to make it compact. There is another removable holder for your loyalty cards and bank cards and behind a zipper are your coins. The designs are also very nice. It’s quite a bit different from a compact mini PC or a transmitter that you use to connect monitors wirelessly, but it’s a nice gadget anyway.

Think of this with crowdfunding
Keep in mind that with crowdfunding you always support an idea in the first place, with no real guarantee that the actual product will meet your expectations. So choose the projects and start-ups that you really believe in and follow the regular updates on development and shipping that the start-ups communicate. Supporting projects through crowdfunding is therefore not the same as shopping.
What do you think of the above products? Have you ever ordered products through crowdfunding? Did that lead to positive experiences or were there also disappointments? Let us know in the comments at the bottom of this article.
