Who is playing today & where is the broadcast?

Even in summer 2022 you don’t have to do without football evenings in the garden. Today is the second game of the DFB women at the European Championships in England. You can follow all games in live stream and TV. Both games can be seen on TV on Thursday. Italy meets Iceland and France meets Belgium. Where can you watch the broadcasts?

Most of the women’s European Football Championship 2022 can be seen on free TV on ARD and ZDF. Today’s broadcasts will be taken over again by “Das Erste”. There you can tune in to free TV tonight. The football evening begins at 5:45 p.m. in the “Sportschau”. The first game between Italy and Iceland kicks off at 6 p.m. The second encounter continues at 9 p.m.

  • Who is showing the match at the Euro 2022 today? It starts today, on July 14, 2022, with the broadcast of two games at UEFA EURO 2022 at 5:45 p.m. on ARD and online at Sportschau.de. When will Germany play at the European Football Championship 2022?

ARD and ZDF have secured the rights for all 31 games of the 2022 Women’s European Championship in England. Many games can be seen directly on free TV. 10 games will be exclusively online in the live stream shown. Anyone who has booked a streaming subscription to DAZN can also follow the EM games live in the stream there. ARD and ZDF share the broadcasts of the Germany games. These are the dates of the DFB women in the preliminary round:

  • Friday, July 8th, 9:00 p.m.: Germany vs. Denmark on ZDF
  • Tuesday, July 12, 9:00 p.m.: Germany vs. Spain on ARD
  • Saturday, July 16, 9:00 p.m.: Germany vs. Finland on ZDF

If the DFB women reach the quarter-finals, the next games will be divided up after the preliminary round. Both channels show two games in the quarter-finals and one semi-final game each. The finale will be transmitted to “Das Erste”. The final date is July 31st.

Christina Graf and Bernd Schmelzer will be heard as commentators on ARD. Claus Lufen will lead through the football evenings in the “First”. At his side is the former German national player Nia Künzer. On ZDF, Norbert Galeske and Claudia Neumann report on what’s happening on the pitch. Sven Voss and Kathrin Lehmann moderate at ZDF.
