Samsung will soon be introducing new smartwatches. There has already been a lot of talk about a new Galaxy Watch 5 Pro design that is said to not look good at all. Now the first pictures have appeared and refute this assumption. The Pro model looks pretty good despite the lack of a bezel.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro: New design revealed

In August, Samsung will introduce two new smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The Classic model with a rotating bezel is no longer available. There is a more expensive Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The omission of the bezel spoke of an ugly design. Exactly the opposite seems to be the case. The pictures of the new top smartwatch that have now appeared are promising one of the most beautiful Android watches on the market:

Especially the model in gray titanium shows the sophistication of the design of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The frame is completely colored and extends to the edge. Samsung never did that with its predecessors, so the smartwatches looked unnecessarily large. Due to the two colors on the front, the frame doesn’t look as wide as it was initially thought. Overall, the watch appears very robust.

The all black version also looks very good. The watch looks like it was made of one piece. Samsung also uses a new bracelet with a different closure for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. But you have to admit that the smartwatch looks quite thick. A really large battery should also be installed for this.

For comparison: The current Samsung smartwatches:

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 retains the design of the Galaxy Watch 4. You will only get a new color to choose from with blue. Here, the frame around the display appears much wider again. We will find out whether the optics are right by August 10, 2022 at the latest, when Samsung’s Unpacked event is to take place.
