Parts iPhone 14 on the way: production closer
We eagerly await the new flagship. Still, the release is slowly but surely getting closer.
Production seems to be running at full speed, because the iPhone 14 parts are now on their way to the factories for assembly. This tells the Taiwanese website DigiTimes. That means the final steps in the production of the iPhone 14 can begin.
iPhone 14: what to expect
It seems that Apple will launch four iPhone models again in the fall of 2022. Instead of an iPhone 14 mini, we will get an iPhone 14 Max. Like the largest Pro model, this one has a 6.7-inch screen. These are the expected models of the iPhone 14 and the sizes:
With the regular iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max, Apple does not seem to be working on the design. The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) is being taken care of and gets some new parts. Instead of a notch, the iPhone 14 Pro (Max) has two cutouts.
iPhone 14 chip
According to the reliable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the regular models get the same A15 Bionic processor as the iPhone 13 (mini). The iPhone 14 Pro (Max) gets a new chip: the A16 Bionic. It looks like the regular iPhone 14 will get more RAM (6 GB instead of 4 GB).
Improvements to the camera
According to rumors, the parts of the iPhone14 camera will change. The regular iPhone 14 (Max) gets an improved ultra-wide-angle lens. It is an autofocus lens with an aperture of ƒ/1.8, 6P. With the iPhone 14 Pro, the ultra-wide-angle lens also improves. In addition, the Pro also gets a wide-angle lens.
Always on screen
The iPhone 14 Pro will get some more features than the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max. For example, the Pro versions have an ‘always-on screen’. You can then always check the time on the screen, for example, without having to wake the iPhone from sleep by tapping the screen. According to Apple insider Mark Gurman of Bloomberg the always-on screen also supports iOS 16’s new lock screen widgets.

Prices of the iPhone 14: expensive, more expensive, most expensive
Delays in iPhone 14 parts and global chip shortages mean Apple is able to produce fewer iPhones. In a message from the news site Bloomberg Apple aims to produce about 220 million units by 2022. The tech giant is expected to sell about 240 million. That scarcity leads to a higher price for the iPhone 14.
It is not yet entirely clear what the prices of the iPhone 14 will be. At the moment you pay just over 900 euros to get the 6.1-inch iPhone 13. The 6.1-inch iPhone 14 will probably cost 1000 euros or more. With the iPhone 14 Pro you can dig a little deeper into your pocket, because we count on prices from 1259 euros.
