Motorola comes to the Netherlands with the new Moto G42; also G62 shown
Motorola has announced a new smartphone in the Moto G series. We are introduced to the new Moto G42, which will also be released in our country. The smartphone will cost around 200 euros.
Moto G42 announced
Where the Moto G series used to be very clear, there is now something for everyone in the series. The Moto G series has been expanded with a new family member; the Moto G42, which is also released in the middle segment. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.4-inch OLED screen that offers a 60Hz Full-HD+ resolution. On board the 4G smartphone we find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, with at least 4GB of RAM.
You can take photos with the triple camera, which has a 50-megapixel main lens, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens and 2MP macro lens. On the front we see a 16 megapixel front camera. The phone offers the possibility to expand the internal memory with a MicroSD memory card. By default, the device offers 64GB of storage space. You will receive the Moto G42 in the color Atlantic Green. The 128GB version is also available in Metallic Rose.
The Moto G42 comes with Android 12 on the market, along with the My UX skin. The press release does not say anything about the update policy. The smartphone will be available from the beginning of July for 209.99 euros. The 128GB version costs twenty euros more. Moto G62
In some countries, the Moto G62 has also been presented, equipped with Snapdragon 480+. This device offers a 6.5 inch IPS LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate. We also see a comparable camera module and a 5000 mAh battery with 20W charging. The Moto G62 is not coming to our country.
