9292 app offers bike rental pilot

If you travel by public transport, the 9292 app is a must on your smartphone. A new pilot for renting bicycles has now started.

Rent bicycles via 9292 app

The 9292 application has been updated with a new beta version update. The new version gives you the option to rent a bicycle via the app. For this, 9292 works together with Donkey Republic, which offers bicycles in the cities of Amsterdam, Dordrecht, Rotterdam and The Hague. The functionality currently only works in that environment.

If you want to use a rental bike for your travel advice, this can be indicated directly in the app. Renting is done via ‘Rent in the neighborhood’ in the app and you can unlock and pay via the application. So no other app is needed. At ‘Huren nearby’, which you can find in the 9292 app, you will find the available bicycles if they are within a radius of 400 meters from you.

As mentioned, the new function is available in the 9292 app, and can also be used in the 9292 moves app.
