50MP wide angle and Snapdragon 778G+
Honor has been standing on its own feet for some time and earlier this year there was the Honor 50 series. Now the Chinese brand presents the Honor 60 and the Honor 60 Pro.
Honor 60 Series Announced
The Honor company has announced the 60 series. This consists of two models; the Honor 60 and the Honor 60 Pro. Where the Honor 50 was the first model to be equipped with the Snapdragon 778G chipset, the Honor 60 Pro is the first with a Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. This is -on paper- slightly faster than its predecessor, although this difference is negligible.
Many specifications are shared. With the Honor 60 Pro we see a quad curved OLED screen with a size of 6.78 inches, a 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit support. With the Honor 60, the screen continues on two sides and has a size of 6.67 inches. The camera is equipped with a 108 megapixel main lens, with the Pro being assisted by a 50 megapixel wide-angle lens with autofocus and there is a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
The battery capacity is the same for both models; 4800mAh. These can be charged with a power of 66 watts. There is also Magic UI 5.0, which is based on Android 12. Honor sells the Honor 60 in China for an amount from 375 euros. For 515 euros you already have an Honor 60 Pro. Nothing is known about a smartphone coming to Europe. We have not (also) seen the Honor 50 series here.
