4-year-old Samsung Galaxy S9 gets security update in March
A brand new update is ready for the four-year-old Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+. Both models receive a new security update.
March update for Galaxy S9
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have been around for a while. Both models were released in 2018 by the Korean manufacturer. Despite the fact that these smartphones are already four years old, it is now time for a new update. The March update has already been rolled out in several countries; now security update March 2022 is available in the Netherlands and Belgium, Harry reports to us.
An update was last distributed for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ in November. We see in the changelog that the overall stability of features has been improved, although details are not shared about what exactly this means. The update is approximately 215MB in size and can now be downloaded for the S9 and S9+. You will receive a notification when you can download the update.
